Una (HP), April 29 -- Two people travelling in a Swift car lost their lives when the vehicle swerved off the road and plunged into a 150-feet deep gorge and burst into flames, on the Bharwain-Hoshiarpur Road in Una district.
By the time police and fire department personnel arrived at the scene, the vehicle had been completely gutted in the fire.
At the accident site, the body of one individual was found lying outside the car, while the body of the other victim was charred inside the vehicle.
Based on the evidence gathered so far, the police have confirmed that only two people died in this incident.
The car, bearing registration number PB-10-K-7531, is registered in Ludhiana, Punjab.
