Gondia, April 23 -- Two people including a mother and her son died on the spot after a speeding tipper hit their bike on the Gondia-Tiroda road near Sukadi Naka on Thursday, police said.
The accident occurred around 4:45 pm when the tipper, coming at high speed, collided with the motorcycle.
The impact was so severe that both riders died instantly at the scene.
The name and the age of the deceased could not be ascertained till the filing of the report.
On receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the spot, conducted a panchnama, and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
