Bhubaneswar, Aug. 27 -- Two people from Odisha state who travelled to Nepal have been reported missing after floods battered parts of the Himalayan country, while a six-member football team from the state has been confirmed safe, Odisha government officials said on Thursday.
Sandeep Mohapatra and Siddharthi Kumari Sahu, natives of Khordha district who are based in Australia, travelled to Nepal on Aug. 22. Their mobile phones have remained switched off and their whereabouts are unknown, the state government said.
Details provided by Sandeep's sister have been collected and shared with the Ministry of External Affairs for further assistance in tracing them.
