Srinagar, May 29 -- Two Members of Parliament on Friday visited Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir to offer condolences and express solidarity with the family of jailed Baramulla MP Abdul Rashid Sheikh popularly known as Engineer Rashid, whose father passed away earlier this month.
Independent MP from Daman and Diu Umesh Bahubhai Patel and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Sudhakar Singh from Buxar, Bihar, were part of the delegation that visited Engineer Rashid's residence at Mawar Langate and interacted with family members, Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) leaders and local residents gathered there.
