Imphal, June 11 -- Four persons including two Manipur police personnel have been apprehended by with 6.1 kg of banned WY tablets, official sources said on Thursday.
Police said they intercepted two four-wheelers along NH-2 under Kangpokpi-PS, Kangpokpi district and arrested four occupants along with contraband WY tablets.
Police identified the four as Md. Hafizuddin of Golapati, who is working as Head Constable of Manipur Police, Md. Zamir Khan of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai, Md. Zuma Khan of Kshetri Makha Leikai, Imphal East , a constable of Manipur Police and Samim of Lilong Haoreibi Leikai. Their vehicles were also seized.
