Bahraich, Feb. 15 -- The discovery of the bodies of two leopard cubs on Sunday in the Motipur Forest Range of the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, caused a stir in the area.

The bodies were found lying approximately 20 meters apart in a field.

According to information received from the Forest Department, villagers discovered the bodies of a leopard cub under a mango tree in a field between the Adgoudwa and Mangoudhiya Gram Panchayats within the Motipur Range this morning.

Upon arrival, villagers found a second carcass lying a short distance away. Fresh deep claw marks and footprints of an adult leopard were found on a mango tree near the scene.
