Dharamshala, Oct. 11 -- Two persons lost their lives while one vehicle was damaged in separate road accidents reported in Kangra district, police said here today.
Kangra district superintendent of police Ashok Rattan told UNI that in the first incident, near Agro Petrol Pump, Maranda (Palampur), a private bus registration number HP68B 2442 hit a motorcycle, HP40A 1102, while overtaking. He said that the pillion rider, identified as Prakash Chand (70), son of Chamaru Ram, resident of Birta, Post Office Ghurkari, Kangra district, died on the spot. A case has been registered under sections 281 and 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Palampur Police Station.
