Siddipet, June 2 -- Two persons, including a woman, were killed on the spot and two others injured after the car in which they were travelling rammed into the rear side of a stationary lorry near Mittapalli in Siddipet district on Tuesday.
According to police, the accident occurred after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The impact of the collision left the car badly damaged.
The injured persons were shifted to Area Hospital Siddipet for treatment. Police rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations.
The deceased were identified as residents of Manuguru. To prevent disruption to traffic movement, the damaged vehicles were cleared from the road with the help of a crane.
