Bokaro, March 16 -- Two persons were killed and another injured in separate road accidents in different police station areas of Bokaro district on Monday, police said.
In the first incident, a woman died after being hit by a speeding unidentified vehicle near Ukrid More under the Bokaro Steel City police station area while she was out on a morning walk.
The deceased was identified as Asha Devi, a resident of Cooperative Colony. Police rushed her to the Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
A case has been registered and a search has been launched for the unidentified vehicle involved in the accident.
