Jammu, July 22 -- Two people were killed, and five others suffered injuries after a shooting stone hit a passenger tempo today near Ramsoo on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district.
Officials said that a shooting stone triggered due to incessant rain hit the tempo and caused extensive damage to it.
Several passengers travelling in the tempo suffered injuries and were shifted to the nearby hospitals, adding they said, "two of the injured later succumbed to their injuries."Police, however, have taken cognizance and started the investigation.
