Shimla, Feb. 28 -- In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government on Saturday transferred two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and eight Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPPS) officers with immediate effect.

The move comes in the backdrop of growing criticism over the alleged failure of state intelligence to effectively monitor the actions of the Delhi Crime Branch, which led to the dramatic arrest of three Indian Youth Congress leaders on February 25.
