Two houses gutted in Laho village fire in Arunachal's Tirap district

Itanagar, March 27 -- A major fire on Friday night gutted two houses at Laho village under Dadam circle in Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap distrivt, causing extensive property loss and rendering two families homeless.

The fire, which broke out around 9:30 pm, reportedly originated from the residence of Tanwang Hakhun and quickly spread to a nearby house belonging to Wanghat Kamhua. The latter's structure was under construction under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) as an MIB-type building.
