Chandigarh, June 4 -- In a major counter-terrorism breakthrough, the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC) of SAS Nagar has thwarted a significant terror conspiracy by arresting two individuals linked to a foreign-based handler.

Law enforcement agencies recovered a fully assembled RDX-based Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing approximately 2.5 kg from their possession, preventing a catastrophic threat to public safety and infrastructure.

The operation was executed following a concerted state-wide drive to neutralize cross-border terror networks.
