Shimla, May 14 -- Himachal Pradesh Police have arrested two people, including a woman, and recovered around 18 grams of heroin during a special anti-drug operation in Shimla district, officials said on Wednesday.
According to Shimla police, the action was carried out by a team of police personnel under an ongoing campaign against drug trafficking in the district.
Police said a team from Police Station Sunni had set up a naka and vehicle checking point in the Gharat Nala area on May 13. During the checking drive, a car coming from the Shimla side was stopped for inspection.
