Palampur, Feb. 21 -- As part of the Himachal Pradesh government's push for eco-friendly transportation, a two-day trial of an electric bus began at the Palampur depot on Saturday.
On the first day, the bus ran on the Palampur-Chadiyar-Seri Molag route and back to assess its performance under local conditions. MLA Ashish Butail inspected the bus at the Palampur bus stand and obtained detailed information from officials of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) regarding its technical features and trial parameters. The MLA also travelled in the bus from Palampur to Subhash Chowk on the Chandpur-Galulanga route to personally experience its operation.
