Panchkula, Sept. 24 -- Six pilgrims, including two children and four women, were killed and more than 20 others injured after a tractor-trolley carrying around 30 people overturned near Pindarsi village in Haryana's Kurukshetra district on Thursday, officials said.
The pilgrims were travelling to Bagad Dham in Rajasthan when the accident occurred near Pindarsi.
Two women were stated to be in a serious condition.
According to preliminary information, the tractor-trolley overturned while attempting to overtake another trolley loaded with paddy straw.
The impact threw the passengers and their belongings onto the road.
The deceased included a seven-year-old boy, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl and four women.
