Dharamshala, Aug. 2 -- Police have booked two persons after allegedly recovering 1.14 grams of heroin (chitta) from their possession during a vehicle check in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district, officials said on Saturday.

According to Nurpur Superintendent of Police Ilma Afroze, a team from Fatehpur Police Station was conducting a naka and routine vehicle checking near the Shani Dev Temple at Jhikla Moch on August 1 when it intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number HP22C-3103.

During the search, police allegedly recovered 1.14 grams of heroin from the two occupants of the vehicle.
