New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- "Two soldiers of the Indian Army are missing after a boat carrying five personnel overturned in powerful currents near the Hathnikund Barrage in Haryana's Yamunanagar district during a joint watermanship training exercise," the Army said.
According to the Army, the incident occurred on September 1 when a training boat was swept towards the downstream side of the barrage amid strong currents. Efforts were immediately made to recover the vessel, but it became caught in turbulent eddies near the sluice gates and capsized.
