New Delhi, March 15 -- Tamil film star and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay is likely to join the probe in the Karur stampede case by Sunday evening. This will be his third round of questioning.

Sources said that Vijay will arrive in Delhi on a chartered flight from Chennai. The flight is scheduled to depart Chennai at 3 PM.

On March 10, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) asked Vijay to join the investigation on March 15, while Karur MLA and former Tamil Nadu Minister V. Senthilbalaji has been asked to join the probe on March 17.

Earlier, Vijay had requested the CBI to grant him an exemption from appearing for questioning scheduled on March 10.

As of now, the CBI has not officially commented on the matter.
