Istanbul, Dec. 1 -- Turkiye's Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced Monday that 12 fugitives wanted on Interpol red notices were brought back to Turkiye from Georgia, Germany, Austria, and France.

In a statement on X, Yerlikaya said security units, including the Interpol-Europol Department, Justice Ministry teams, and the Intelligence, Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM), Anti-Narcotics, Cybercrime, and Public Security departments,coordinated efforts to track individuals who had fled abroad despite active arrest warrants.

Cooperation with police units in the relevant countries resulted in the capture and extradition of all 12 suspects.
