Tirumala, July 25 -- The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Saturday suspended an Office Subordinate after a preliminary inquiry found his conduct violated the Employees' Conduct Rules.
The suspended employee, identified as N. Sharath Babu, was working in the GNC area of Tirumala.
The action followed the circulation of a video on social media alleging that the employee demanded money from devotees, along with reports published in several newspapers.
In a release, TTD said a preliminary inquiry was initiated into the allegations, and based on its findings, disciplinary action was taken by placing the employee under immediate suspension.
