New Delhi, March 26 -- US President Donald Trump will travel to Beijing on May 14-15 for a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, President Trump announced on Thursday. He also announced that the Chinese President will pay a reciprocal visit to the US at a later date this year.

Describing his upcoming meeting with President Xi as a ''monumental event,'' Trump said he looked ''very much forward to spending time with President Xi in what will be, I am sure, a Monumental Event.''The meeting between the two Presidents was scheduled to be held earlier but was postponed because of US-Israel attack on Iran.
