Washington/Tehran, Dec. 30 -- US President Donald Trump has threatened to "knock the hell" out of Iran, warning the Islamic Republic against any attempts to rebuild its ballistic missile capabilities or its damaged nuclear facilities, and said that Washington could carry out another series of strikes like the ones in June 22, should the need arise.

Trump made his remarks alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after hosting a meeting with Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on Monday.

The US and Israel had earlier carried out coordinated airstrikes on three key Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, during the 12-day war between Israel and Iran.
