Washington, July 1 -- US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the United States was "getting along very well" with Iran and that recent meetings involving Qatar had gone well, adding that US forces "hit them very hard" over three nights.
Speaking to reporters before boarding a new Qatar-provided Air Force One aircraft for a trip to North Dakota, Trump said efforts to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons were moving in the right direction as indirect negotiations between the United States and Iran were taking place in Doha.
