Washington, April 11 -- US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran is "losing big" in the ongoing conflict as talks in Islamabad get underway.
Trump's statement comes as Pakistani government sources have confirmed that trilateral direct talks involving the United States, Iran, and Pakistan are now underway.
Earlier, the discussions were being held indirectly through Pakistani mediators, but officials say direct engagement between the US and Iran has now commenced.
In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump criticized media reports suggesting Iran is "winning," asserting instead that the country's military capabilities have been severely degraded.
