Washington, Sept. 10 -- Top White House advisers, including US Vice-President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have privately warned President Donald Trump that the Iran war could continue for the rest of his presidency and maybe even beyond, the Wall Street Journal reported citing US officials.
According to the report, Vance, Rubio and other senior officials have told Trump that Iran could continue to withstand American military and economic pressure, potentially keeping the conflict going beyond the end of Trump's current term in January 2029.
