Washington, Jan. 21 -- US President Donald Trump's plane, Air Force One, returned to Joint Base Andrews shortly after takeoff on Tuesday due to a "minor electrical issue," the White House said.

Trump was en route to Davos, Switzerland, to deliver a keynote address at the World Economic Forum 2026. "Out of an abundance of caution, AF1 is returning to Joint Base Andrews. The President and team will board a different aircraft and continue on to Switzerland," the White House Rapid Response Team said on X.
