Washington, April 23 -- Lauding his work in West Asia, President Donald Trump has justified the ongoing US operations in the region, stating "whatever I'm doing, it seems to be working very well" when asked about his extreme threats towards Iran.

Speaking to the BBC in a brief call, when asked about his controversial statement from earlier this month, where he threatened to destroy all of Iran by stating "a whole civilisation will die tonight", signalling a potential nuclear bombing of the country, Trump replied "The other side is dying to make a deal.
