Washington, Oct. 10 -- US President Donald Trump has heavily criticised the Nobel Committee after failing to win the Nobel Peace Prize again, claiming he deserved the award for his role in resolving multiple international conflicts.
In a Truth Social post of nearly 600 words published shortly before midnight on Friday, Trump questioned the credentials of this year's laureate, Navi Pillay, and accused her of opposing Israel.
"I know nothing about this woman, and neither does anyone else!" Trump wrote. "I don't know what the woman has done."Indian-origin Pillay, a former judge of the International Criminal Court and former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, was awarded the prize for her efforts to promote peace and international law.
