Washington, Sept. 15 -- Escalating his attack against AI safety, US President Donald Trump dismissed the industry's apocalyptic warnings calling for tighter regulations as a "sick conspiracy," aimed at sabotaging the country's standing and undermining his administration.
"The only control or 'guardrails' that AI needs is a STRONG AND SMART (High IQ!) PRESIDENT," Trump wrote in a series of posts on Truth Social, accusing Democrats of fuelling what he described as an unnecessary panic over the technology.
