Washington, June 14 -- US President Donald Trump has confirmed plans to sign a new framework for a peace deal with Iran on Sunday, describing it as a potentially major breakthrough between Washington and Tehran. Trump said the agreement is "scheduled to be signed" on Sunday and added that "when all is calm, we will go in and get the nuclear dust buried deep under the powerful, sunken granite mountains."Iran has spent decades developing its nuclear program but it has been consistently maintaining that it is solely for peaceful energy purposes. The country has also outlined plans to construct additional nuclear power plants to meet rising domestic energy demand and reduce oil consumption, allowing more crude exports.
