Washington, June 15 -- Although the memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran has already been signed digitally, a senior Trump administration official told reporters on a call Monday that there will nonetheless be a formal signing ceremony on Friday.
Vice President JD Vance, President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and US special envoy Steve Witkoff are expected to be there.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also confirmed that negotiators from both sides are expected to meet on Friday, most likely in Switzerland.
