Amaravati, Nov. 5 -- A trough is currently extending from the southwest Bay of Bengal to north Kerala across interior Tamil Nadu at about 5.8 km above mean sea level, the Meteorological Centre here reported today.

In its daily weather report, the Met Centre said that yesterday's upper air cyclonic circulation over the west-central Bay of Bengal off the Andhra Pradesh coast at 0.9 km above mean sea level has now become less marked.

The Northeast Monsoon is active over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, and normal over Rayalaseema, it added.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next three days, and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam du...
