Bengaluru, Sept. 8 -- Two-time champions Triveni Continental Kings revived their Global Chess League campaign in emphatic fashion on Tuesday, stunning table-toppers Alpine APL Pipers 10-4 and throwing the race for the top two positions wide open at the halfway stage.
The Continental Kings, who had managed just one win in their first four matches and were languishing at the bottom of the standings, produced a decisive turnaround against the unbeaten-looking Pipers, denying them the chance to pull clear at the top.
