Agartala, Aug. 29 -- Tripura's Animal Resources Development Department Minister Sudhangshu Das presented a five-year plan in the Assembly, reaffirming the government's focus on achieving self-sufficiency in milk, meat, and egg production.
The minister stated that the government intends to implement a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing livestock and poultry production, increasing farmers' incomes, and creating employment opportunities, particularly for women and youth, within a time-bound framework.
