Agartala, June 17 -- Tripura government will host the Global Pineapple Festival 2026 from June 27-29 at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha announced here on Wednesday.
The festival aims to showcase and promote Tripura's internationally acclaimed pineapple variety while facilitating market access for farmers and food processors, with the goal of attracting investments, he said.
Dr Saha emphasised that the three-day event aligns with International Pineapple Day, highlighting Tripura's position as a leading producer of high-quality pineapples in India.
