Agartala, June 27 -- A couple belonging to a minority community in Bangladesh was arrested in South Tripura on Friday for allegedly entering Indian territory through an unauthorised route.
According to police, the couple, identified as Santanu Debnath and his wife, was apprehended at Debdaru in Shantirbazar while travelling on a passenger bus. Their suspicious behaviour, coupled with their inability to produce valid identification documents, led to their detention.
