Agartala, June 12 -- The Tripura government is set to conduct a feasibility study for launching the seaplane service at Dumboor Lake, a natural water reservoir in Gomati district spread across 41 sqkm of area with 48 islands to add more attraction for the tourists.

Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said after due evaluation of the credentials, the department has selected an agency from South India, which will soon launch the study to assess the project's potential. Discussions with the firm for beginning the service are going on, and Dumboor has been shortlisted for the proposed service.
