Agartala, Sept. 6 -- Tripura's Youth and Sports Minister Tinku Roy met union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in New Delhi today and sought his support for development of sports infrastructure in the state.
After discussion, Roy presented a memorandum that outlines several initiatives aimed at enhancing sports and youth facilities in Tripura.
The key proposal includes comprehensive infrastructure development at Panisagar Regional Physical Education College in North Tripura. He has proposed a 25,000-seat gallery at DD State Sports Complex in Badharghat and a youth hostel within the same sports complex.
