Agartala, Feb. 11 -- In line with the Supreme Court's directives, the Tripura government has resolved to adopt coordinated measures under the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, 2023, to address and manage issues related to stray dogs and other animals.
Deepa D. Nair, Secretary of the Animal Resources Development Department, stated that a comprehensive, multi-departmental initiative has been designed to ensure public safety, promote animal welfare, and achieve sustainable population control.
