Agartala, May 9 -- The North Tripura District and Sessions Court revoked the bail of two persons accused of murder and sent them to judicial custody for intimidating the families of the victims and key witnesses to retract their statements.
According to police, a seven-year-old boy was viciously killed, and his mother sustained serious injuries in an attack allegedly perpetrated by the accused, identified as Amit Sinha and Madhan Gopal Sinha, from Sanicherra in Dharmangar on Nov 24 last year.
Following the incident, both suspects were arrested for their purported role in the murder case. However, they managed to secure bail from a local court on Feb 26, after the Investigating Officer (IO) failed to present a charge sheet against them.
