Agartala, Oct. 30 -- Tripura State Election Commission officially announced that the upcoming elections for 21 civic bodies, including the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), was scheduled to take place on November 27.
The state election commissioner Dr Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, indicated that candidates interested in running for office can start filing their nominations beginning Saturday, with the nomination process set to conclude on November 6.
He further elaborated that the scrutiny of nomination papers is planned for November 7, allowing for a detailed review to ensure all candidates meet the necessary qualifications.
