Agartala, Aug. 7 -- The ruling BJP in Tripura has stepped up its political preparations for the upcoming elections to the ADC Village Committees and urban local bodies by convening a crucial Core Committee meeting at the party's central headquarters in New Delhi.
According to party sources, the meeting discussed electoral strategy, organisational preparedness, and bolstering the party's presence in the tribal-dominated areas of Tripura, with discussions reportedly lasting for several hours last night.
