Ayodhya, April 11 -- A domestic dispute between a husband and wife turned into a horrific triple tragedy in Ayodhya. The incident took place in Kareru village under the Raunahi police station area, police said on Friday.
According to reports, the woman allegedly killed her husband by striking him with a hammer. After committing the murder, she locked the room from outside, leaving behind their 22-day-old infant along with the deceased father's body.
The newborn tragically died due to hunger and dehydration.
Following the incident, the woman left the house and later died by suicide by jumping in front of a train near Devarakot on the Ayodhya-Lucknow railway section.
