Pune, June 3 -- Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sandeep Khardekar paid tributes to the late union minister and Deputy Chief Minister Gopinathrao Munde on his 12th death anniversary describing him as a large-hearted and towering leader.
"Munde Saheb will always be remembered for his role during the Bharatiya Janata Party's years of struggle to build the organisation in Maharashtra," Khardekar said at a function here on Wednesday.
Khardekar recalled Munde's key contribution to regulate crime in Mumbai as the deputy CM with additional charge of the Home portfolio as well as his participation in the 2002-2003 "Chanda to Banda" struggle march.
