Vijayawada, Nov. 4 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Women & Child Welfare and Tribal welfare G Sandya Rani has said that basic amenities are being provided to the 757 tribal schools, which are under the preview ofIntegrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), at a cost of Rs 113 crore.

Addressing a press conference in the Secretariat at Amaravati, near here, on Tuesday, the Minister said that there are 757 tribal schools and residential schools under the preview of ITDA. "The State Government has sanctioned Rs 113 crore to provide facilities to the 757 schools and residential schools. Facilities will be provided and augmented to the tribal ashram schools at a cost of Rs 83 crore," the Minister informed.
