Agartala, July 30 -- A distribution transformer manufacturing unit launched it's operation at Bodjungnagar Industrial Growth Centre in eastern outskirt of Agartala, with an initial investment of Rs 5 Cr, marking a significant milestone as the first investment proposal to materialize following the Destination Tripura Business Conclave held last month.
According to officials, the manufacturing unit, established by Kolkata-based Electro Trans Industries, is anticipated to produce distribution transformers necessary for the state's power distribution network, consequently leading to the creation of local employment opportunities.
