Agartala, Oct. 22 -- The Independent Drive Test (IDT), carried out by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in Tripura, indicated a significant improvement in telecom network performance and shared the findings with the service providers for offering benefits to the customers.
TRAI statement said the study conducted August last aimed to assess the real-time performance of mobile networks in different settings, such as urban areas, commercial zones, institutional sites, and rural communities.
TRAI teams performed comprehensive drive tests along city routes for a distance of over 292km, analyzing 10 hotspot locations and executing 1.7 km of walk tests in Agartala and the nearby vicinity.
