New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- As Delhi gears up to bid farewell to 2025, the city's traffic police have issued a strict advisory for New Year's Eve celebrations around Connaught Place, which lies in the center, an official said on Tuesday.
Anticipating massive crowds, officers will impose extensive vehicular restrictions from 7 pm on December 31 until the celebrations conclude.
According to the traffic police, no vehicle will be allowed to proceed towards Connaught Place beyond key points, including Mandi House, Bengali Market, R.K. Ashram Marg, Gole Market, Patel Chowk, Windsor Place, and several other intersections.
Entry into the inner, middle, and outer circles of Connaught Place will be strictly limited to vehicles with valid passes.
