New Delhi, July 21 -- The national capital, mostly the heart of the city Connaught Place, and surrounding places, on Monday witnessed traffic snarls, and blockages amid the heightened security in wake of the Chalo Sansad March call, by the Cockroach Janta Party, and their protest at Jantar Mantar.
The New Delhi District Police had enforced prohibitory orders u/s 163 BNSS in the District, except the designated protest site at Jantar Mantar Road.
According to police, no permission was sought or granted for any proposed march to Parliament on Monday, while the cops had advised people to not be part of any unauthorised gathering or procession.
